The Japanese Robe we know of are from the Monoyama and Edo Periods (1568-1867). The Japanese Robe we offer in our collection are from the 1900’s to the 1970’s. In modern times, the Japanese Robe is typically worn on special occasions and is primarily worn by women, but certain men do still wear this garb.
