Silk Scarf

For our Silk Scarf we rescue damaged traditional vintage Japanese kimono and use their beautiful fabric to hand make these creations. Each Silk Scarf is uniquely wonderful. Silk Scarves can also be used as table runners!

The kimono is a Japanese traditional clothing item that originated during the country's Nara Period (645-794). The Japanese kimono we know of are from the Monoyama and Edo Periods (1568-1867). The kimono we use the fabric from for our Silk Scarves are from the 1900's to the 1970's.
